Kawasaki KLX 230 Price: Kawasaki India's KLX 230 dual-sport motorcycle is currently priced at Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom), according to the official website. This reflects the Japanese brand's deep localisation strategy, enhancing the bike's value proposition and enabling it to better compete against the Hero Xpulse 210 (Rs 1.62 lakh-Rs 1.71 lakh) and the Bajaj Dominar 250 (Rs 1.77 lakh). Here's a look at the 2026 bike's specifications:
Kawasaki KLX 230: Suspension, Brakes, Wheels
The suspension setup consists of a 37mm telescopic front fork (with 220mm travel) and a Uni-Trak rear monoshock (with 223mm travel), while a 290mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc handle braking. The main frame is a high-tensile steel unit for enhanced stability and handling. Weighing 139kg (kerb), the KLX 230 has a 880mm seat height, a 255mm ground clearance, and a 1,370mm wheelbase. The 21-inch/18-inch wheel setup underscores the bike's dual-sport character.

Kawasaki KLX 230: Engine, Output
The 2026 Kawasaki KLX 230 draws power from the same 233cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine is tuned to produce 19bhp at 7,800rpm and 19Nm at 6,200rpm.

Features are basic – a digital instrument console with Bluetooth and single-channel ABS. The bike can hold up to 7.5 litres of fuel. Colour options are Lime Green and Battle Grey. At Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom), the bike is a stronger value proposition than the earlier version priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (before GST 2.0).
