Kia Sorento 2026:  Kia, the South Korean car manufacturer, recently confirmed the launch of its Kia Sorento Hybrid SUV in India. The brand has now officially teased the SUV ahead of its official launch. The brand has shared an image of the upcoming Sorento covered under a black cloth. While the image shows the car covered, it has revealed several key design details. Let's take a look.

2026 Kia Sorento Teased

As mentioned earlier, the teaser image shows the upcoming 2026 Kia Sorento covered under a black cloth. The SUV gets an upright stance with a muscular look. The front fascia of the SUV is not completely visible, but we can see T-shaped LED DRLs with integrated turn signals. The headlight setup of the 2026 Sorento is visible, and it gets vertically positioned 4 LED cubes. It also gets LED cube-shaped fog lamps placed lower on the bumper.

Kia Sorento SUV: Features

The 2026 Kia Sorento features a premium cabin, and it also gets several advanced features. Inside the cabin, the 7-seater SUV by Kia gets a dual display setup with each of the screens having a size of 12 inches, a four-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, a premium leather gear knob, a touch-based HVAC panel with rotary dials for volume and fan control, steel pedals, a dual-tone theme, and a rotary dial behind the gear knob for drive mode selection. It is also expected to feature a Level 2 ADAS suite, a manually dimming IRVM, a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, and more.

Kia Sorento SUV: Engine

The brand has not yet disclosed any details about the upcoming Kia Sorento 2026. The global trims of the Sorento are available with options of either a 2.5-litre petrol engine or a 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. It is also available with a hybrid powertrain internationally, which uses a 1.6-litre turbo engine. We expect the Kia Sorento to be offered with the strong hybrid powertrain in India, and the SUV will likely be offered with a petrol engine as well.
