As mentioned earlier, the Tata Punch EV facelift 2026 has scored a perfect 5-star rating in terms of Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP) in crash tests organised by BNCAP. In terms of AOP, the electric SUV by Tata has scored a total of 31.09 out of a maximum of 32 points, whereas it has scored a total of 45 points out of a maximum of 49 points in terms of COP. While the SUV’s score in COP remains unchanged, its AOP scores have reduced marginally when compared to the previous-generation model.

Tata Punch EV Facelift 2026: Pricing

The Tata Punch EV is also the most affordable electric SUV in the Indian market currently. The prices for the BaaS version of the Punch EV start from Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and the battery rental fees have been kept at Rs 2.6 per kilometre. The battery-fitted version of the Punch EV is priced from Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. The top-spec variant of the Punch EV is priced at Rs 12.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Punch EV 2026: Features

The all-new Tata Punch EV facelift comes equipped with a slew of advanced features. The list of features on the Tata Punch EV facelift includes an automatic climate control system, a 10-inch infotainment screen with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with front ventilated seats. It also features a cooled glovebox, a 360-degree camera, voice assistance, and a rear wiper and defogger.

Tata Punch EV 2026: Range

The Tata Punch EV facelift now comes with a higher range, thanks to the addition of a larger 40 kWh battery pack. The Punch EV facelift will be offered in two variants- the Medium Range (MR) variant has a 30 kWh battery pack, and the Long Range (LR) variant now has a 40 kWh battery pack. The brand claims a real-world range of up to 355 Km with the LR variant, whereas the ARAI-claimed range stands at 468 kilometres. The claimed real-world range for the MR variant stands at 335 kilometres. The brand is also providing a lifetime warranty on the battery pack of the Punch EV for unlimited kilometres.
