Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Price: Maruti Suzuki has announced substantial GST benefits across its range of four-wheelers, including SUVs, sedans, and hatchbacks. With effect from September 22, also the first day of Navratri, buyers can save up to Rs 1.30 lakh, depending on the model and variant. Under the new two-slab structure, small cars with petrol engines up to 1,200cc and diesel engines up to 1,200cc will attract an 18 per cent GST, with no cess included. However, cars longer than 4,000mm with an engine capacity above 1,200cc for petrol and 1,500cc for diesel will be taxed at a flat 40 per cent. 

Here's a close look at the model-wise new pricing, which will be applicable on or after September 22:

Hatchbacks

Evidently, the S-Presso has received the maximum price drop, while the Alto K10, a popular choice among first-time car buyers, is now more affordable to budget buyers.

Except for the Jimny, the company's other three compact SUVs on the list have seen a drop of more than Rs 1 lakh. As for the newly launched Victoris, the prices (Rs 10.50 lakh-Rs 19.99 lakh) are inclusive of the GST rate cuts.

Along with these models mentioned above, Maruti Suzuki has also reduced the prices of the Super Carry, a pickup meant for commercial use. Effective from September 22, the Carry will be priced at Rs 5.06 lakh, a decrease of Rs 52,100.
