The teaser video released by Ather showcases a major 40-foot drop test performed on the battery, while emphasising on its durability. The battery pack withstands the impact successfully, indicating its resilience to shocks while navigating rough roads. Although specific details on capacity and range are yet to be disclosed, the flat design suggests an underfloor placement like the Ather 450X which will result in more space under the seat.

The manufacturer has not revealed specific details about the Ather Rizta. However, it is expected that the upcoming Rizta will feature ample seating and under-seat storage for the family e-scooter.  Currently, the company offers battery packs in 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh capacities, providing ranges of 111 km and 150 km respectively on a single charge. It remains to be seen if the Rizta will adopt similar battery packs or it will be equipped with a larger battery pack to enhance its range. However, incorporating a larger battery pack may pose challenges due to increased weight. The incorporation of a larger battery pack will have to be done meticulously to meet the demands of family scooter buyers.
