Audi Price Hike: Audi, the German luxury and performance car manufacturer, has announced a 2 per cent hike across its entire model range sold in India. The price hike will be effective starting April 1, 2026. The brand has recently made its Formula 1 debut, and it is all set to launch the SQ8 SUV in the country on March 17, 2026.
Audi Car Price Hike: The Reason
The brand has cited rising input costs and currency fluctuations as the cause of the car price hike. Several carmakers have recently announced prices across the country, and this is the first price hike announcement from Audi. The brand offers popular car models, such as the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A6, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, and more. All of these models will become more expensive from April 2026 onwards.

Audi SQ8: What To Expect?
As informed earlier, the brand is all set to launch the Audi SQ8 in the country on March 17. The interior of the Audi SQ8 also largely mirrors the regular Audi Q8 SUV. The cabin features leatherette and alcantara upholstery. In terms of features, the Audi SQ8 comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system and a similarly sized screen for the fully digital instrument cluster. The most significant factor that sets the Audi SQ8 and the regular Audi Q8 apart is the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine placed beneath the bonnet. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and it generates a peak power and torque output of 507hp and 770 Nm, respectively.
