Tyre Check

Before the monsoon, check your bike's tyres for wear and tear, especially the tread and sidewalls. The tread on the tyres plays a crucial role in maintaining grip on wet roads by dispersing water. Therefore, if you notice the tread wearing out, it's essential not to ignore it. Additionally, if there are any visible cracks on the tyre's sidewall, it's advisable to replace the tyre

Check Tyre Pressure

Ensure your bike or scooter tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure as specified by the manufacturer. Incorrect tyre pressure can impact vehicle performance. Under-inflated tyres can strain the engine, while over-inflated tyres can reduce grip.

Servicing

Getting your bike serviced before the monsoon is crucial as it helps to address any minor issues. Servicing helps to resolve problems with engine oil, air filters, chainset and brakes. It also allows for timely repair or replacement of any damaged parts.

Check Helmet Visor

Always wear a helmet when riding a bike for head protection during accidents. Before the monsoon, check your helmet's visor for any damage like scratches or cracks. Replace the visor if it impairs your vision, as clear visibility is crucial while riding in the rain.
