BMW Motorrad has finally begun deliveries of the M 1000 RR in India. BMW launched the M 1000 RR for the Indian market in June 2023. The BMW M 1000 RR is available at a whopping price tag of Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom) whereas the top-end model M 1000 RR Competition, was introduced with a price tag of Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom).

BMW M1000 RR - Design 

The M 1000 RR is being brought to India via the CBU route and is loaded with advanced technology that allows it to deliver incredible performance. The newly launched M 1000 RR looks eye-catching as it features a bold and aggressive style. A significant amount of carbon fibre has also been used, especially on the fairing. It also features new aerodynamically optimised winglets for improved downforce compared to previous models.

BMW M1000 RR - Hardware

In terms of hardware, the bike is equipped with forged or M Carbon wheels and comes with 320mm disc brakes at the front. At the rear, it features a single 220mm unit with dual-channel ABS. Additionally, the M 1000 RR includes USD front forks and the rear is equipped with a mono-shock with preload adjustability.

BMW M1000 RR - Engine Specs 

Talking about the engine specs, it derives its power from a 999cc, inline 4-cylinder engine. This engine is tuned to churn a power output of 209 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. It boasts a top speed of 314 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. The BMW M 1000 RR was also showcased at the Indian MotoGP.
