BMW India has increased the prices of its lineup of cars for the 2024 model year. This announcement comes after the decision that was revealed in December 2023, that the manufacturer will be increasing the price of its models due to increased input costs.

BMW X1 Price Increase
The BMW X1 SUV launched last year has seen a price increase of Rs 90,000. In the BMW X1 lineup, the sDrive 18i M Sport variant has undergone the highest price increase as it will now be costing Rs 90,000 more. The sDrive 18d M Sport diesel variant has also become pricier by Rs 60,000. The X1 is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 134 bhp and 230 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, the 2.0-litre diesel engine delivers 147 bhp and 360 Nm of peak torque. Both engines come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. After the revision, the X1 is now priced between Rs 49.50 lakh and Rs 52.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Price Increase
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe has also seen a price hike of up to Rs 50,000. In the 2024 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe lineup, there are three variants: 220i M Sport, 220i M Sport Pro, M Performance Edition, and 220d M Sport. The petrol variants of the 2 Series Gran Coupe now cost Rs 40,000 more, while the diesel variant is pricier by Rs 50,000. However, the price of the M Performance Edition remains unchanged. This stylish four-door coupe is powered by 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT and the diesel engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. After the price hike, the 2 Series Gran Coupe is priced between Rs 43.90 lakh and Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
