BYD has officially introduced the Seal electric sedan in India with a variety of features and different variants. After the e6 MPV and Atto 3 SUV, this will be the company's third import into the nation. Customers can reserve an electric vehicle (EV) by paying a token of Rs 1.25 lakh by March 31 in order to receive special offers that include free home charger installation, a 3kW portable charging box, and six years of roadside service.

BYD Seal Variant-Wise Price (Ex-Showroom India)

Three new versions—Dynamic, Premium, and Performance—have been offered by the corporation. Their respective prices are Rs 41 lakh, Rs 45.55 lakh, and Rs 53 lakh. With rear-wheel drive, the Dynamic trim has a 61.44 kWh battery, while the Premium and Performance trims have an 82.56 kWh battery. All-wheel drive is available on the Performance variant.

BYD Seal Range, Powertrain

As previously indicated, the BYD Seal is available with two distinct battery packs. The Dynamic variant has a stated range of 510 km and can generate 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. When used with rear-wheel drive, the larger battery pack can generate 312 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque; when used with two motors, AWD can generate 530 horsepower and 670 Nm of torque. Both the RWD and Performance models have a stated range of 580 km. The guarantee is 8 years/160,000 miles from the manufacturer.

BYD Seal Exterior Design

The Seal is an aggressive-looking sedan that borrows certain styling ideas from the company's design language and the Ocean X Concept. It has a glass roof akin to a coupe, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs and LED headlamps with a C-shaped bumper and an LED bar at the back. The 19-inch alloy wheels with a petal-like shape enhance the side profile. Arctic Blue, Aurora White, Atlantis Grey, and Cosmos Black are some of the hue options.

BYD Seal Interior And Features

Speaking about the inside, the BYD Seal has an intriguing rotating 15.6-inch infotainment system along with a heads-up display and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It also has wireless charging pads, a volume control for the music system, and a heated windscreen. Additionally, the front seats are heated and cooled and are adjustable. In addition, it has a 360-degree camera, dual-zone air conditioning, ten airbags, ABS with hill hold, automated wipers, and ADAS technology with a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
