Citroen Aircross X: Citroen recently announced the ‘Citroen 2.0’ strategic plan, which aims to strengthen the brand’s position in India. The brand recently upgraded its Basalt SUV, along with the C3 hatchback, with a special ‘X’ variant. Now, the brand is planning to launch a new Aircross X SUV in the country. The brand recently shared a teaser of the upcoming Aircross X, and commenced bookings with the amount being set at Rs 11,000. Let’s take a look at what can be expected from the upcoming Aicross X.
Citroen Aircross X: Features
As per the teaser shared by the brand, the Citroen Aircross X will include Cruise Control and new materials for the upholstery in the cabin. The brand has not yet confirmed details regarding the Citroen Aircross X. However, it is anticipated that the brand will upgrade the upcoming Aircross X SUV with features such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, along with connected car features and smart AI assistant CARA.

Citroen Aircross X: Design
While the Aircross X is expected to receive major changes in terms of features, it is very unlikely for the SUV to receive changes in terms of design. The same has been the case with the recently introduced ‘X’ models. The only change in terms of design can be the addition of an X badge on the tailgate. The same can be anticipated from the teaser shared by the brand.

Citroen Aircross X: Powertrain
Similar to the design, the Aircross X SUV is expected to remain the same in terms of the powertrain. The Aircross X is expected to continue with the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, along with the option of a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The turbo petrol engine is capable of generating 110 hp of peak output.
