The brand has announced the launch of the Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition, with prices starting from Rs 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the brand recently launched the comfort edition of its SUV, the Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition, for Rs 9.09 lakh. Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition: Features
The Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition comes equipped with several enhanced features over the standard Basalt X. While the standard model of the brand’s coupe-SUV features a tan-and-black dashboard with leatherette inserts, the Comfort Edition of the Basalt X SUV comes packed with Metropolitan Beige leatherette seats, available across all variants of the special edition. Customers can choose to personalize the vehicle as per their requirements using the AXS pack. The AXS pack offers features such as JBL premium audio, front and cabin dash cameras with predictive safety alerts, a reverse parking camera, a wireless charger, and a 10-inch Android touchscreen-based infotainment system.

Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition: Engine
The Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition uses the same engine as the standard Basalt X model. The Basalt X gets two engine options: a 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated (NA) three-cylinder petrol engine, and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. While the NA petrol engine generates 82hp and 115 Nm, the turbo petrol engine generates a peak power and torque output of 110hp and 190 Nm, respectively. The NA petrol engine can be paired only with a 5-speed manual transmission, whereas the turbo petrol engine can be paired with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
