Delhi National Lok Adalat 2023: The Delhi State Legal Services Authority will be organising the fourth National Lok Adalat of 2023 in Delhi on Sunday, (December 10, 2023). This year, several National Lok Adalats were organised by the Legal Services Authority under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) in 34 states and Union Territories across the country. According to a statement by the NALSA, apart from Delhi, National Lok Adalats will be organised in Chhattisgarh on December 16 and Telangana on December 30.
On Saturday, December 9, National Lok Adalat was organised in several parts of the country including the Gautam Buddha Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh. As per the data shared by NALSA, over 1.17 crore cases were resolved at the fourth National Lok Adalat on December 9, 2023, including 11,98,278 (11.98 lakh) pending cases and 1,05,45,187 (1.05 crore) pre-litigation cases. Approximately, settlement amount in these cases which were resolved today was Rs 20,510 crore.
National Lok Adalats were organised to save time, money and resources for litigants and the judicial system. The resolution of cases at Lok Adalats allows litigants to avoid costs and delays associated with the courts-based justice system and reduces case pendency of the courts.

- Delhi National Lok Adalat Timings And Place
The National Lok Adalat in Delhi will be organised from 10 am till 4 pm on Sunday at the Delhi High Court, all District Courts, the Debt Recovery Tribunal, the Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions and Permanent Lok Adalats.
- Delhi National Lok Adalat: How To Download Challan Slips?
i) Litigants can download their challan slips directly from the official website of Delhi Traffic Police at traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat. The link was activated on December 6 and the link will remain active till the time the pre-decided number of challans (1.77 lakh) are downloaded.
ii) The Delhi Traffic Police has also shared two QR codes which can be scanned to download the challan slip. The challan slip will mention the Court Complex, Court number and timing of Lok Adalat where you can get your challan disposed of.
Delhi National Lok Adalat 2023: What To Do After Downloading Challan Slip?
Litigants or their lawyers will have to visit the particular court (as per their choice) on the day of the National Lok Adalat and produce the challan slip before the concerned Lok Adalat judge for disposal/settlement of their challans. It is mandatory to take a printout of the slip to settle the challan. The facility to take print out will not be available on the court premises.
