Delhi National Lok Adalat 2024: The Delhi State Legal Services Authority along with the Delhi Traffic Police will be organising the National Lok Adalat on May 11, 2024. The National Lok Adalat helps in settling or completely waiving the challan issued against your vehicle. The Delhi Traffic Police has revealed that cases that are pending on their official website will be resolved during this National Lok Adalat. These also include settlement of compoundable traffic challans including commercial vehicles.
Traffic violations such as running a red light, lacking a Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate, exceeding speed limits and failing to wear seat belts may be minimised or forgiven. According to the official announcement, each bench in all 180 Lok Adalat benches will only handle 1000 challans or notices for resolution. This implies that a total of 1,80,000 challans will be resolved on 11th May.

How To Register For Delhi National Lok Adalat 2024
Registration for the National Lok Adalat started yesterday at 10:00 AM. To register, individuals need to download the e-challan from the official website, https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat. As per the notification by the Delhi traffic police, the National Lok Adalat is scheduled for May 11 from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM . The registration link will be active from May 7, starting at 10:00 AM, until the limit of 1,80,000 challans is reached.
How To Download Challan Slip For Delhi National Lok Adalat 2024
Visit the Delhi Traffic Police Lok Adalat website by clicking on the link that has been provided above. Enter the required details like the vehicle number, chassis number or engine number. You can then access information about compoundable challans until January 31 by clicking on the Challan Information link. Choose the Court, Court Complex and Session, then click on 'Print Notice' to print the slip. Please note that it is mandatory to carry a printed copy of your Notice to your assigned court complex as there will be no provision of printing in the courts.
Where Will Delhi National Lok Adalat 2024 Be Held
As per Delhi Traffic Police, the Delhi National Lok Adalat 2024 will be held in the Court Complexes of Dwarka, Karkardooma, Patiala House, Rohini, Rouse Avenue, Saket and Tis Hazari.
