Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Launch: Ducati India is gearing up for the launch of the Multistrada V4 RS, as it has recently been listed on the official website. This new variant of the Multistrada V4 is designed to deliver higher performance, making it more suitable for track use than off-road adventures. It is expected to compete with the BMW M 1000 XR, the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is likely to be priced around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS - Engine
In terms of engine specs, the Multistrada V4 RS is powered by the same 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine found in the Panigale V4. This engine delivers a remarkable power output of 177 bhp and 118 Nm of torque. This makes it the most powerful bike in its class, surpassing the standard Multistrada V4's 170 bhp. The RS model also features an upgraded Akrapovic exhaust system.

The Multistrada V4 RS also boasts advanced electronics with four riding modes - Full, High, Medium, and Low - along with traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and a Full Power Mode for maximum performance.
Ducati Multistrada V4 RS - Hardware
In addition to its powerful engine, the Multistrada V4 RS incorporates several lightweight components, making it 3 kg lighter than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. It rides on 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminium wheels and features a titanium subframe that is 2.5 kg lighter than those on other Multistrada models. The tail section is streamlined by removing the pillion grab handle and top box mounting bracket.
For suspension, the bike is equipped with 48 mm Ohlins fully adjustable front forks with titanium nitride coating and an Ohlins TTX36 fully adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking system includes radially-mounted Brembo Stylema monobloc four-piston callipers with twin 330 mm semi-floating disc brakes at the front and a Brembo two-piston floating calliper with a 265 mm disc brake at the rear. The seat height is adjustable between 840 mm and 860 mm for added comfort.
