Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to unveil its flagship motorcycle, named Mavrick on January 23 for the Indian market. It is likely that it will share its foundations with the Harley-Davidson X440. Previously, Hero MotoCorp has released some teasers and a sketch image of the Mavrick. Now, the two-wheeler manufacturer has offered a sneak peek via a teaser video where the motorcycle's front look, instrument cluster and exhaust note have been revealed.

Hero Mavrick - Engine Specs
The Hero Mavrick will be equipped with the same engine which is fitted in the Harley-Davidson X440. This power mill is a 440 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that is capable of churning a power output of 27 bhp and 38 Nm of torque. Hero will most likely tune the engine to align with the requirements of the Mavrick.
Even though the Hero Mavrick will be based on the Harley-Davidson X440, it will be heavily localised to make it more affordable for Hero’s target market. Therefore, when comparing the two motorcycles, the Mavrick will come fitted with conventional telescopic front forks instead of USD forks available in the X440. It is also anticipated to be equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels at both the front and rear, instead of the 19-inch front wheel seen on the X440. The rear of the bike will continue to have twin shock absorbers. Braking responsibilities will be handled by a disc both in the front and rear, with dual-channel ABS.
Hero Mavrick - Expected Price
There has been no confirmation on the price details of the Hero Mavrick, however, it is expected that it will be launched at a starting price of Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
