Hero Mavrick 440 Launched In India: Hero MotoCorp has launched its flagship motorcycle offering, the Mavrick 440 for the Indian market today. Along with the Hero Mavrick 440, the motorcycle manufacturer has also launched the new Xtreme 125R. The Hero Mavrick is based on the Harley-Davidson X400 and has been developed on the same foundation while boasting the same specs with minor modifications. Though, it boasts a new design and is positioned as Hero’s most powerful motorcycle yet.
Hero Mavrick 440 - Engine Specs
The Mavrick 440 is powered by a 440cc long-stroke oil-cooled engine that is capable of delivering a power output of 27 bhp and 36 Nm of peak torque. Hero has stated that 90 per cent of the torque output is available at just 2,000 rpm, therefore promising a powerful riding experience. This engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox for transmission duties.
Hero Mavrick 440 - Design
Hero Mavrick 440 flaunts a muscular appearance which is highlighted by a chunky fuel tank and an elongated single-piece seat. Hero will be offering the Mavrick 440 in three variants and five colour options - the Base variant in Artic White, the Mid variant in Fearless Red and Celestial Blue, and the Top variant in Phantom Black and Enigma Black.
Hero Mavrick 440 - Hardware
Hero Mavrick 440 is equipped with 43mm front telescopic forks and a 130mm travel at the front. It also features dual shockers at the rear, disc brakes on both ends and alloy wheels for a reliable riding experience.
Hero Mavrick 440 - Features
Hero Mavrick 440 is equipped with top-notch features such as a digital instrument cluster, LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone integration, call and text notifications and a turn-by-turn navigation system. All lighting units are LED with an LED headlamp projector.
Hero Mavrick 440 - Expected Price, Bookings and Deliveries
Price of the Hero Mavrick 440 has not been revealed yet, however, Hero has confirmed that the bookings will commence from February, 2024 with its deliveries starting in April 2024. To talk about the price expectation, it is likely that the Mavrick 440 will be priced around Rs 2 lakh (
ex-showroom) in India.
