Honda CB125R 2026: Honda has unveiled the updated version of the entry-level CB125R for global markets. The MY2026 update brings only four new colour options for the street bike, while keeping the mechanical components unchanged. The new colour lineup consists of Matt Rock Grey, Matt Lucent Silver Metallic, Zefiro Blue Metallic, and Matt Pearl Diaspro Red. The rest of the bike remains visually the same, retaining familiar design elements such as a round headlamp, razor-sharp tank extensions, split seats, and a compact tail section.

Honda CB125R: Engine, Hardware

Powering the Honda CB125R is a 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to deliver 15bhp and 11.6Nm of peak torque. On offer is a five-speed gearbox. Premium hardware components include 41mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down front forks, a 296mm front disc brake with radial-mounted 4-piston Nissin brake callipers, and IMU-based ABS. In terms of equipment, the bike gets a 5-inch TFT, LED lighting, electric start, and a 12V battery.

Honda CB125R: Dimensions

Weighing 130kg (kerb), the CB125 is compact and lightweight, with a seat height of 816mm and a wheelbase of 1,345mm. The turning radius is rated at 2.3 metres. The company offers no details regarding the launch of the bike in India. Nevertheless, Honda retails the CB125 Hornet, SP 125, and the Shine 125 in the 125cc segment.
