Honda Shine 100 DX: Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) today unveiled several upcoming products. The brand unveiled its 100cc commuter motorcycle, the Honda Shine 100 DX, in the country today. Prices for the bike will be revealed on August 1, 2025, and it will compete against the likes of Hero Splendor, TVS Radeon, and Bajaj Platina.
Honda Shine 100 DX: Design
The newly unveiled Honda Shine 100 DX features a design quite similar to the existing model. However, few fresh elements provide it with a distinctive look. The Honda Shine 100 DX features a big headlamp with Halogen lights at the front, with a chrome crown on top of it. The bike gets a plastic cowl at the front. The bike has a 10-litre tank, along with a single-piece seat. The bike will be offered in a total of 4 attractive paint schemes, and the options include Imperial Red, Pearl Igenous Black, Geny Gray Metal, and Athletic Blue Metallic.

Honda Shine 100 DX: Features
The Honda Shine 100 DX comes equipped with a full-digital LCD instrument cluster. The Instrument cluster on the bike provides information such as a range, real-time display mileage, digital clock, service reminder, and more. The bike also features a silent ACG starter, PGM-Fi technology, and eSP technology. These technological features enable the bike to have a silent start, along with enhanced fuel efficiency.

Honda Shine 100 DX: Engine
The Honda Shine 100 DX features a vertically placed 98.98cc single-cylinder engine. The bike uses a diamond frame, and the engine can churn out 7 hp and 8.04 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox, and the bike also gets a multiplate wet clutch. The Shine 100 DX uses 17-inch tyres for both front and rear, and the braking duty is handled by a drum setup.
