In Pics: CBR1000RR-R Fireblade Returns As The Most Advanced Litre-Class Honda Superbike

Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Price: Honda recently relaunched its flagship sportbike, the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, in India. Priced at Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Fireblade is offered in a single top-spec 'SP' guise, making it over Rs 5 lakh pricier than the previous version. 

Engineered with inputs from Honda Racing Corporation, the 2025 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP features an RC213V-S-derived swingarm and a lightweight aluminium twin-spar frame. Suspension is taken care of by USD front forks and a rear monoshock, both electronically adjustable Ohlins units. 

Powering the new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is a 999cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 215bhp at 14,000rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 12,000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, accompanied by a bi-directional quickshifter and Akrapovic Titanium exhaust as standard. The bike also features a two-motor throttle-by-wire system.

Instrumentation-wise, the superbike gets a 5-inch TFT display, which manages wheelie control, traction control, 3-level engine braking, ABS, launch control, and 5-level power modes.
