The American car manufacturer Jeep is preparing to expand its mid-size SUV lineup in India. Jeep plans to introduce a new compact SUV, which is expected to use Citroen's C-cubed Platform. This new model is expected to enter the Indian market around 2026. Although Jeep has not officially disclosed any specifics about this vehicle, reports suggest that more details could be shared soon.

New Jeep SUV - Dimensions  

In terms of size, the new Jeep SUV is expected to measure around 4.3 meters in length, similar to popular models like the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. This makes it a strong contender in the mid-size SUV segment.

New Jeep SUV - Powertrain

The upcoming mid-size SUV is expected to be available in both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicle (EV) versions. The ICE version is likely to come with a powerful engine delivering good performance, while the EV version might be offered exclusively with an all-wheel-drive option. 

New Jeep SUV - Expected Price 

Talking about its prices, it's speculated that the new model could be priced between Rs 15 to Rs 20 lakh. These figures are based on current market trends and the pricing strategies of competing models, but official details from Jeep are still awaited. Once launched, this new SUV will compete with top models such as the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Honda Elevate. 

New Jeep Compass 

In addition to the new compact SUV, Jeep is also gearing up to launch the next-generation Compass in India. While the launch date for the new Compass has not been announced, it has been indicated that the current model will remain unchanged even after 2026.

The introduction of a new compact SUV and the next-generation Compass indicates Jeep's commitment to strengthening its presence in the Indian market.
