Chery Jetour T2 SUV In India:  JSW group’s independent passenger mobility division, JSW Motors Limited, is all set to launch its first vehicle in India. As per a report by AutoCar, the brand has joined hands with the Chinese car manufacturer Chery to launch the Chery Jetour T2 SUV in India. The Jetour T2 SUV will be launched independent of the company’s joint venture with MG (JSW MG Motors), and it will carry the JSW badge and a different model name.

Chery Jetour T2 SUV Will Be Made In India

The report by AutoCar also shares that the Chery Jetour T2 SUV will be manufactured at JSW Motor’s upcoming greenfield manufacturing plant, which is located in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The report also states, citing sources, that the SUV is expected to reach the showroom as early as the third quarter of 2026.

Chery Jetour T2 SUV: Design

The Chery Jetour T2 is a rugged adventure SUV, and it is built on a monocoque chassis. The SUV features an upright stance with an overall boxy contour. At the front, it gets square-shaped LED DRLs with dual slat LED headlamps incorporated into a black applique with Jetour badging. It also gets a very rugged, massive bumper with integrated LED fog lights and a chunky bash plate. On the sides, it features squared-wheel arches with thick black cladding and 20-inch alloy wheels. On the rear, the Jetour T2 SUV features a vertically placed rectangular light setup with split lights, a rear storage box, and massive bumpers with integrated reflectors.

Chery Jetour T2 SUV: Features

The Chery Jetour T2 SUV comes equipped with some of the most advanced features. It features a 15.6-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, a dual-zone climate control system, ventilated leather seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The Jetour T2 SUV also enhances passenger safety by featuring Level 2 ADAS functionalities.

Chery Jetour T2 SUV: Engine Specs

The Chery Jetour T2 offers multiple powertrain options, including pure ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) trims. However, we expect the SUV to come equipped with a 1.5-litre hybrid engine option in India, considering JSW Motor’s intent of sustainable mobility. Notably, the hybrid trims of the SUV feature a Front Wheel Drive (FWD), along with an All Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration.
