Japanese two-wheeler giant, Kawasaki, is all set to introduce another high-end bike in the Indian market. Kawasaki will now launch the ZX-4R in India in the coming months, although the manufacturer has not released any specific launch date. The company also shared a teaser on its social media platforms with the caption "Coming Soon", hinting at the launch of the Kawasaki ZX-4R.

Kawasaki's Z series bikes are the most popular in the world after its Ninja series bikes. Kawasaki currently offers a plethora of bikes in India including the Ninja H2R, Ninja ZX-10R and low-budget Ninja 300 and Ninja 400. In the Z series, the company is selling seven bikes including Z H2 SE, Z900 and Z650. Apart from the Ninja and Z series, Kawasaki has a lineup of Vulcan, Versys, W, KX and KLX series bikes.

Kawasaki ZX-4R Design and Features
The global variant of the Kawasaki ZX-4R is designed on an all-new steel trellis frame with non-adjustable Showa suspension at the front and preload-adjustable horizontal mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties will be handled by twin 290mm disc brakes at the front with Nissin 4-piston radial callipers. At the rear, it gets a single 220mm disc. For safety, it gets dual-channel ABS.
In terms of features, the bike gets a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, notification alerts, all LED lighting and an optional bi-directional quick-shifter.
Kawasaki ZX-4R Engine
The bike gets a liquid-cooled 399cc inline-four-cylinder engine, which produces 80 hp of power and 39 Nm of peak torque. This 399cc engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox. It gets Sport, Road, Rain and customisable rider modes.
Kawsaki ZX-4R Prices
The Kawasaki ZX-4R was recently introduced globally and is available in three variants - Standard, SE and RR. It is likely that only the standard trim of the bike will be launched in the Indian market at an expected price of Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be a fully built unit.
