Kia Carens Clavis Booking: Kia has unveiled its brand-new 7-seater MPV, the Carens Clavis, in India today. The upcoming 3-row MPV is a more premium iteration of the current Kia Carens model. Bookings for the upcoming Kia Carens will begin from May 9, 2025. It gets more SUV-like appeal when compared to the Kia Carens, thanks to its edgy and sharp design. Let’s take a closer look at the features, cabin and powertrain of the recently unveiled Kia Carens Clavis.
Kia Carens Clavis Price And Safety
The newly presented Kia Carens Clavis has been unveiled for now, with the price announcement likely happening in June 2025. We expect Kia Carens Clavis to have a price tag ranging between Rs 15 Lakh to Rs 23 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). However, bookings for the 3-row premium MPV will begin tomorrow, and customers can book it from the official website of Kia India. The Carens Clavis also features a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for enhanced safety of the passengers. The booking amount for the newly unveiled Kia Carens Clavis has been set at Rs 25,000.

Kia Carens Clavis Interior
The newly presented Kia Carens Clavis features spacious interiors just like the regular Carens. The Carens Clavis, however, will offer a more premium cabin in comparison to the latter. Kia Carens Clavis will feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is claimed to be the largest in the segment. It will also house a same sized screen for the fully digital instrument cluster. The Carens Clavis will also get features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a Panoramic Sunroof, and a Dual-Zone Climate Control System on the inside.
Kia Carens Clavis Powertrain
The premium 3-row MPV from Kia will get a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine with 115ps and 144 Nm of torque. The Carens Clavis will also get a Smartstream G1.5-litre T-GDi petrol engine, which can churn out 157 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. The third engine on offer with the 3-row Carens Carens Clavis can be a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel mill. It will generate the same amount of power as the NA petrol engine- 115ps- but can produce higher torque figures of up to 200Nm. These engines will be combined with either a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed clutchless manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
