South Korean automaker Kia launched the facelift of the Carnival MPV for global markets in the later part of 2023. The model is part of the fourth generation and has received a mid-cycle facelift in the international market. The Kia Carnival facelift was recently spotted testing in India and has now been spotted testing again while being wrapped in heavy camouflage. Although the facelift was revealed for global markets in October, this indicates that Kia India might be gearing up to launch the new-gen Carnival MPV for the Indian market. The Kia Carnival was first introduced in its third generation in February 2020, available at a starting price of Rs 24.95 lakhs (ex-showroom).

2024 Kia Carnival Facelift - Exterior 

The highly anticipated fourth-generation Kia Carnival facelift has been recently spotted testing in India, and it is expected to hit showrooms by April. Despite the heavy camouflage on the test mules, some design features are prominently visible such as the updated headlights with large LED DRLs and the large tail light cluster. Additionally, it will also get a larger grille, a new bumper, a connecting LED light bar and updated alloy wheels. 

2024 Kia Carnival Facelift - Interior 

The spy shots of the Carnival facelift's interior don't reveal a lot of specifications. However, as per pictures from the global launch, we expect features like two 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and digital instrument cluster. In addition, it will also get a rotary gear selector, wireless charger, ambient lighting, digital internal rear-view mirror, multi-zone climate control, and an entertainment system for rear seats with a 14.6-inch HD screen.

2024 Kia Carnival Facelift - Powertrain 

The Kia Carnival facelift was introduced in international markets with three engine options - a 3.5-liter petrol engine, a 2.2-liter diesel engine and a new 1.6-turbocharged petrol engine with a hybrid powertrain. However, it is currently unclear which powertrain configurations will be offered in India.
