Kia EV6 Facelift: South Korean automaker Kia is gearing up to unveil the updated version of its EV6 electric SUV. It is expected to hit the global market soon and ahead of its unveil, the manufacturer has shared some teasers, offering a glimpse about what all will change. The updates include design changes, potential feature additions and the possibility of a larger battery pack for increased driving range. Kia EV6 is the brand’s first dedicated EV model, built on Hyundai Motor Group's E-GMP platform solely for electric vehicles. The Kia EV6 was also awarded the Global Performance Car of the Year award at the 2023 World Car Awards.

2025 Kia EV6 - Design 

Talking about the exterior design of the 2025 Kia EV6, the teasers showcase partial profiles of the front and rear of the updated model. Notable changes can be seen in the headlight and taillight units, featuring a new 'Star Map Signature Lighting' design. The LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) will sport a wraparound element, while the LED headlights are positioned lower compared to the current model. Tweaks in the grille and bumper design are also expected. The rear will continue to have connected LED tail lights, now with an arrow signature at each end and a refreshed bumper design. The SUV is also likely to receive redesigned alloy wheels.

2025 Kia EV6 - Interior 

Talking about the updated Kia EV6 interior, it is anticipated to feature updates such as a new infotainment screen, redesigned steering wheel and potentially more safety and comfort features.

2025 Kia EV6 - Powertrain

Specifics about the powertrain of the new Kia EV6 are limited, however, it's expected to adopt a new 84 kWh battery pack that has also been incorporated in the Hyundai loniq 5. This upgrade could replace the existing 77 kWh unit, potentially enhancing the SUV's range. The current EV6 variants sold in India, the GT Line and GT Line AWD, offer over 700 kilometers of range on a single charge. The new battery is anticipated to further extend this range.

Current-Gen Kia EV6 Price in India 

The Kia EV6 is available in India at a starting price of Rs 60.95 lakh (ex-showroom) with the top-end model being priced at Rs 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The Kia EV6 was unveiled for the first time for all global markets in 2021 and made its India debut in 2022.
