Kia Sonet Facelift Teaser: South Korean automaker Kia has shared a teaser of the upcoming Sonet facelift in India. Kia has confirmed that the upcoming Sonet facelift will be revealed for all global markets on December 14. The upcoming Kia Sonet facelift will get significant upgrades on its exterior as well as the interior of the compact SUV. Prices for the Kia Sonet facelift are expected to be announced in January 2024.

Kia Sonet facelift - Design 

The teaser video shared by Kia India gave a sneak peek at the front face of the Sonet facelift. On the front, the Sonet facelift gets new LED headlights, LED DRLs, revamped grill, new bumper and horizontally placed fog lamps. The lower variants of the Kia Sonet facelift will get halogen headlights instead of LED headlights. The headlight and DRL placement and design on the front looks quite similar to the front fascia of the Kia Seltos facelift. 

Moving to the side of the Kia Sonet facelift, it gets new alloy wheels and will continue to get the plastic cladding to give the compact SUV an aggressive look. On the back, it is expected that the Sonet facelift will get a new dual-tone rear bumper and new vertical LED tail lights that are connected to each other by an LED light bar.

Kia Sonet facelift - Interior 

The teaser shared by Kia India also revealed some interior features like a new digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system and a Bose sound system. Additionally, it is expected that the upcoming Sonet facelift will also provide new upholstery options within its interior.

Kia Sonet facelift - Powertrain 

It is likely that the upcoming Kia Sonet facelift will be equipped with the existing powertrain options that include a 1.2-litre petrol engine, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These engines produce a power output of 83 bhp, 120 bhp and 116 bhp while producing 115 Nm, 172 Nm and 250 Nm of torque respectively.
