The Eletre SUV will be available in India in early 2024 as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU).

Lotus Eletre - Design

Talking about the design of the Lotus Eletre SUV, it looks longer, lower and sleeker than it actually is. It features a sharp design at the front fascia, a glass canopy on the top and a full-length ribbon light at the rear. Many design elements of the Eletre SUV make it look similar to other Lotus models like the Emira and the Evija. As the Eletre SUV is an electric vehicle it gets superior aerodynamic design to maintain air flow from the front with two vents on the bonnet. At the back, the Eletre gets a carbon-fibre, three-stage deployable, split, roof-mounted spoiler which has been put in place to bring out race car winglets.

Lotus Eletre - Interior

Interior highlights of the Lotus Eletre SUV include a three screen setup which include a 15.1-inch foldable touchscreen infotainment system and two 300 mm digital screens on either side of the central infotainment system that display all necessary information. Additionally, there’s a light running across the full dashboard that changes colour to communicate with the passengers of the car.  Notable features include digitally or voice controlled commands for everything apart from HVAC controls that have physical buttons. There’s also a smartphone app, 5G data compatibility and over-the-air software updates. The Eletre is a five-seater electric SUV with an optional third row seats.

Lotus Eletre - Powertrain

The Lotus Eletre SUV is built on the brand’s Electric Premium Architecture. Furthermore, the Eletre gets two powertrain configurations - the entry-level Eletre and the Eletre S offer a 600 km range on a single charge and produces 595 bhp and 710 Nm from a dual-motor setup. The top-spec Lotus Eletre R also gets two electric motors that generate a power output of 893 bhp and 985 Nm of torque while offering a driving range of 490 km. The Eletre R variant can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.95 seconds while the Eletre and Eletre S can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The Eletre SUV can achieve a maximum speed of 265 km/h.
