Mahindra XEV 9E New Variants:  Mahindra launched both of its born electric SUVs, the BE6 and the XEV 9E, in India on November 26, 2024. Both of these electric SUVS have registered a huge surge in demand ever since, and the brand achieved a milestone by delivering 10,000 XEV 9E and BE 6 electric SUVs over a period of days. Now, a report claims that the XEV 9E lineup might receive the addition of some new variants.

Mahindra XEV 9E New Variants: Leaked Document

The addition of the new variants to the XEV 9E variant is based on a leaked Homologation document. A Homologation document is a certificate issued by the government after testing any product, as per the legal and technical requirements. This certification process makes sure that any vehicle sold in the market meets the criteria set by the government and authorities of that country.

Mahindra XEV 9E: Expected New Variants

The Mahindra XEV 9E is available in India with a price tag ranging between Rs 21.90 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 30.50 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Currently, it is offered in a total of 4 variants: Pack One (59 kWh), Pack Two (59 kWh), Pack Three (79 kWh), and Pack Three Select (59 kWh). The leaked document suggests the addition of the smaller battery (59 kWh) to the Three Pack and the addition of the larger battery (79 kWh) for the Three select variants.

Mahindra XEV 9E: New Base Trim?

As per the leaked documents, the Mahindra XEV 9E lineup will be extended by the addition of two new variants: the B59 Pack Three and B79 Pack Three Select. It is also anticipated that the XEV 9E will get a new base variant in the form of Pack Three B59. The new variants are expected to be launched as soon as this festive season.
