Mahindra Tractors, a prominent division of the Mahindra Group and the world's leading tractor manufacturer, has unveiled its highly anticipated tractor series, the Mahindra OJA, during the Futurescape event in Cape Town, South Africa.

The OJA range has been introduced across three platforms – Sub Compact, Compact, and Small Utility – to cater to diverse market requirements. Featuring standard 4WD, Mahindra launched seven new tractor models in India under the Compact and Small Utility platforms, with power ranging from 20HP to 40HP (14.91kW to 29.82kW).

After its debut in India, Mahindra plans to extend the OJA range to North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe, and the SAARC region. The ASEAN debut will commence with Thailand in 2024.

Commenting on the launch, Hemant Sikka, President – of Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra, stated, "The OJA range of lightweight tractors is an embodiment of innovation and technology, aimed at empowering progressive farmers. It allows Mahindra to address a significant portion of the Global Tractor industry, opening doors to new markets like Europe and ASEAN."

Highlighting the launch's significance for India, Vikram Wagh, CEO, of Farm Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., emphasised, "The OJA tractor range is a game-changer for Indian agriculture, featuring 4WD capabilities as standard and advanced automation controls to enhance precision and performance. This range aims to redefine mechanised farming, especially in growing segments like horticulture and grape farming."

The OJA tractor range is set to hit the Indian market in October, offering a comprehensive set of advanced technology packs – PROJA, MYOJA, and ROBOJA – to enhance the overall customer experience. As Mahindra amplifies its global footprint with the OJA series, it aims to further solidify its position as a frontrunner in the agricultural technology arena.
