Mahindra Price Increase: Mahindra & Mahindra, an Indian automobile manufacturer has announced that it has increased prices of three of its SUVs, the Scorpio-N, Thar and XUV700. Price hikes for all the three Mahindra SUVs have been effective from this week. This move aligns with Mahindra's previous declaration that its vehicles would see an increase in cost this month due to escalating production expenses. The latest price hike has resulted in an increase of up to Rs 57,000 for these models.

Mahindra XUV700 Price Increase
Mahindra XUV700 has undergone the highest price hike as its prices have been increased by up to Rs 57,000. The AX7 L petrol variant which gets a 7-seat configuration and manual gearbox, has received a price hike of Rs 57,000. Similarly, the diesel variant of the same model, available with both manual and automatic transmission, has undergone a price increase of up to Rs 53,000. In addition to this, some variants of the XUV700 have also witnessed a reduction in prices. The entry-level petrol variants have seen prices drop by up to Rs 15,000, while the AX5 diesel variant with an automatic gearbox and 5-seat options, has witnessed the most significant price decrease of Rs 21,000.
Mahindra Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic Price Increase
The Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic models have undergone a price increase of up to Rs 40,000. All variants of these two SUVs, except for one, have witnessed a price hike. The Z8 7-seater variant with AWD and automatic transmission which is available at Rs 23.08 lakh (ex-showroom), remains unchanged. The entry-level petrol Scorpio-N variant has seen a hike of Rs 34,000, while the entry-level diesel variant's price has been increased by Rs 24,000. The most significant hike has been made to the Z8 L 6-seater with manual transmission, available in both petrol and diesel versions. Prices of all variants have been increased for both the SUVs, even if it is as low as Rs 1,000.

Mahindra Thar Price Increase
Mahindra Thar price has been increased by up to Rs 35,000 for all variants of the SUV. The most significant increase is seen in the AX(O) diesel manual variant, with an increase of Rs 35,000. Additionally, the top-end petrol variant LX with an automatic gearbox will now cost Rs 34,000 more.
