Mahindra Thar Stunt Gone Wrong: Gujarat Police have charged two men for driving their Mahindra Thar SUVs into the sea near Mundra in Kutch, Gujarat. A video showing the two Thar SUVs stuck in sand and deep water has gone viral. The drivers reportedly attempted the stunt to create Instagram reels showcasing the off-road capabilities of the popular SUV. Local residents later helped to pull the vehicles out of the water.
The incident occurred last weekend in Bhadreshwar, near Mundra. The drivers were both locals, and tried to bring their red and white Thar SUVs out of the deep water and sand, but the vehicles were submerged up to the wheel arches, causing water to enter them. The SUVs were stuck in the sand, preventing the drivers from completing their stunt. After the vehicles were recovered with the help of locals, the Munda Marine Police seized both Thar SUVs. The drivers fled the scene, leaving their vehicles behind. The police are now attempting to track them down using the registration numbers of the SUVs. Both men have been booked under IPC sections 279 and 114, as well as sections 177 and 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
