Mahindra XEV 9S Price: The Mahindra XEV 9S has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has equipped India’s first seven-seater electric SUV with a range of advanced features. The XEV 9S will be offered in a total of 4 variants, and it is available with options of: a 59 kWh, a 70 kWh, and a 79 kWh battery pack. The XEV 9S also enhances passenger safety by offering a range of advanced safety features. Mahindra XEV 9S: Safety Features
The Mahindra XEV 9S comes with an all-disc brake system, which uses the brake-by-wire tech. The first Indian seven-seater electric SUV also features an electronic parking brake, and it also gets an electronic brake booster with 46 value-added features. The XEV 9S also gets 7 airbags, front fog lamps with cornering function, auto booster headlamps, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, and a high-stiffness bodyshell.
Mahindra XEV 9S: Advanced Active & Monitoring Systems
The enhanced safety provided by the Mahindra XEV 9S doesn’t stop here. The first Indian seven-seater electric SUV takes passenger and occupant safety further by offering several advanced safety features, including a Level 2 ADAS suite, which features functions such as driver-initiated lane change, lane centring, emergency steering assist, blind spot detection, front and rear cross traffic alert, and more. The XEV 9S also features an AR HUD, and it’s the second Indian SUV, after the Tata Sierra, to get this feature. The XEV 9S also features a Driver and Occupant Monitoring System (DOMS) called Eyedentity. It uses a camera inside the cabin to monitor driver fatigue and distraction.
