Mahindra XUV.e9 Coupe SUV: Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in India is gearing up to launch new electric models in the country. In 2022, Mahindra unveiled five upcoming electric SUVs. These new vehicles were categorized under two sub-brands: XUV and BE. Within the XUV lineup, two SUVs were introduced: the XUV.e8 and the XUV.e9. Recently, the XUV.e8 which is based on the XUV700 has also been spotted and now the XUV.e9 has been spotted on Indian roads. Mahindra has confirmed that the XUV.e9 will be launched in India in April 2025.
Mahindra XUV.e9 - Electric Coupe SUV
Mahindra XUV.e9 will be among the other upcoming coupe SUVs that are set to be launched in 2024. Tata Motors is set to introduce the Curvv, India's first coupe SUV which is slated to be launched later this year. However, it's worth noting that this won't mark Mahindra's first foray into the SUV coupe segment. Eight years ago, Mahindra unveiled the XUV Aero concept at Auto Expo 2016. Although the concept garnered significant attention, the project was ultimately shelved due to the high production costs associated with the concept SUV.

Mahindra XUV.e9 - Exterior Design
The Mahindra XUV.e9 dimensions will measure 4,790 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width and 1,690 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. Moreover, it will be built on the INGLO platform. From the spy shots, it appears chunky and muscular and will be sharing its front fascia design with the XUVe.8. It is expected to feature a light bar complemented by vertically mounted headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lamps. There's a departure from the traditional grille, replaced by a flat bonnet and muscular haunches. Flush door handles are featured on the sides, while rear door handles have been placed on the C-pillar. The roof design takes on a coupe-like slope after the B-pillar.
