Maruti Suzuki E Vitrara Launch Date:  Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in India, is all set to launch its first electric car, the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara. The E Vitara was showcased for the first time during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, and its launch has been much-awaited ever since. Maruti Suzuki E Vitara: Launching On December 2?

The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara production began in August 2025, and the first unit was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 26, 2025. The brand has already confirmed that the electric SUV will be launched in December. Many reports now suggest that the E Vitara will be launched on December 2, 2025. However, the brand has not yet confirmed the official launch date of the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara: Features

The E Vitara by Maruti Suzuki features a Panoramic sunroof, fully automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and more. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki E Vitara is also expected to come equipped with 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, and a Level 2 ADAS suite for enhanced passenger safety.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara: Design

The E-Vitara features a sharp and modern design language, similar to the model showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The front-end of the upcoming electric SUV by Maruti is expected to feature a Y-shaped vertically placed headlamp setup, along with a sleek grill, and the charger placed beneath the Suzuki logo. The fog-lights are placed very low on the bumpers, even below the number plate.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara: Powertrain

The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara is expected to come equipped with 2 Battery pack options- a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh, and both of these batteries will be based on BYD’s LFP chemistry. The E Vitara is also expected to feature a 2WD and a 4WD configuration, and the model with the larger battery pack is expected to deliver a claimed range of 500 kilometers, once fully charged. The AWD trim of the car is expected to feature different driving modes, including Eco, Normal, Sports, and Snow.
