Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Recall: The Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki's flagship Nexa model, was recently in the spotlight for being outpaced by its platform sibling, the Victoris Arena SUV. It has now made headlines once again over a potential fuel gauge issue, triggering a recall of more than 39,000 Grand Vitaras. The recall applies to 39,506 units of the SUV manufactured between December 9, 2024, and April 29, 2025, according to a regulatory filing.
Per the internal analysis, the issue concerns the fuel level indicator and warning light in the speedometer assembly, which, in some cases, may fail to provide accurate fuel status and could cause drivers to misjudge the remaining fuel level. In response, the company has, therefore, initiated a recall to ensure continued customer safety and vehicle reliability.
