Mini Countryman JCW All4 Launched At Rs 64.90 Lakh, Goes 0–100km/h In 5.4 Seconds

Mini Countryman JCW Launched: Mini India has launched the John Cooper Works (JCW) version of the Countryman All4 SUV at Rs 64.90 lakh (ex-showroom). With the launch, the new Countryman JCW joins the Countryman Electric E and the (limited-edition) Countryman Electric JCW, becoming the only internal combustion engine-powered model in the line-up. The all-electric Countryman, which features a 66.4kWh battery with 462km range (WLTP), is priced at Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Mini Countryman JCW: Engine, Output

Under the hood, the Countryman JCW features a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. The powertrain setup is capable of producing 296bhp and 400Nm of peak torque, while enabling the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 5.4 seconds (claimed). The top speed is limited to 250km/h.

Mini Countryman JCW: Features

The Countryman JCW gets a minimalist cabin layout, with JCW-specific bits including red accents, contrast stitching, sporty pedals, red ambient lighting, and JCW graphics on the infotainment screens. Speaking of, the touchscreen is a 9.4-inch OLED unit.

Other notable features include a panoramic glass roof, a powered tailgate, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, electrically adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.

Mini Countryman JCW: Exterior

Over the standard Countryman, the JCW adds a sportier kit, bringing red brake callipers, larger air intakes, an all-black chequered-flag grille, a larger roof spoiler, quad exhaust pipes, and a JCW logo. The vehicle also gets red accents on the roof and bumpers, as well as 'Countryman' lettering on the tailgate. On offer are 19-inch alloy wheels. 

Mini offers the Countryman JCW in three exterior paint options – British Racing Green, Legend Grey, and Midnight Black, all with racing stripes. Buyers can also opt for either a red- or a black-coloured roof.

Bookings for the Countryman JCW have been open for a while, and prospective buyers can make reservations on Mini's official website or at authorised dealerships in India.
