Bajaj Chetak Scooter:  A new Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is set to be launched on January 14, 2026. The brand recently shared the media invites for the launch event of a new Bajaj Chetak model. While the current range of Bajaj Chetak electric scooters includes several premium models, the upcoming model is expected to come as a more budget-friendly option for consumers. Let’s take a closer look at what can be expected from the upcoming Bajaj Chetak electric scooter.

New Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter: New Design?

The brand has also shared an image of the rear end of the upcoming Bajaj Chetak electric scooter with the media invite. The image shows a new taillight setup on the scooter. Current models on sale come equipped with a vertically placed split taillight setup with Chetak badging in the centre. The upcoming scooter, on the other hand, features a more modern design, and it features a sleek horizontal split, while the Chetak badging is placed above it.

New Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter: What To Expect?

As per several media reports, the upcoming Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will come equipped with a hub-mounted electric motor. The suspension duty is expected to be handled by a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It is also expected to come equipped with an LCD instrument cluster and 12-inch alloy wheels. The braking duty is expected to be carried out by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
