Hero Xtreme 160R 4V 2025: Hero MotoCorp is yet to launch the 2025 iteration of the Xtreme 160R 4V commuter bike in India. While not confirmed, we expect the launch to take place any time soon, as the latest iteration has just been spotted at the company's dealer-level event. For 2025, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is expected to offer features in line with the Glamour X, which is the brand's first 125cc bike to get cruise control.

New Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: What to Expect?

Another update could be in the form of a new headlamp, similar to the one found on the larger Xtreme 250R. The new headlamp cluster is likely to house a projector unit, complete with an 'H-shaped' DRL. The show bike at the event features a colour digital LCD dash with Bluetooth connectivity, along with updated switchgear. The updated switchgear suggests ride-by-wire, cruise control, and multiple ride modes.

The updated Xtreme 160R 4V is expected to carry over the same mechanical and hardware components. The familiar 163.2cc single-cylinder engine, with a 5-speed gearbox, is likely to be offered. In the current iteration, the engine makes 16bhp and 14.6Nm. An upside-down fork/monoshock setup for suspension is also expected to be the same. Other expected bits include panic braking, dual-channel ABS, and a rear disc brake.

New Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Expected Price

The existing Xtreme 160R 4V is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect the new iteration to command a premium of Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000. Upon launch, it will renew rivalry with the TVS RTR 160 4V, which currently offers a TFT with Bluetooth, in addition to traction control and a projector headlamp with LED DRLs.
