Nissan has been testing the facelifted version of the Magnite in India for a few months. The Nissan Magnite facelift has recently been spotted revealing some new details. The Magnite is Nissan's sole offering in the Indian market with the manufacturer planning to launch new products in the latter half of 2025. Therefore, this upcoming Magnite facelift is vital for maintaining sales momentum for Nissan in India.

Nissan Magnite Facelift - Design & Interior
The updates to the Magnite aren't anticipated to be as extensive as those seen on rivals like the Tata Nexon or Mahindra XUV300. Based on the camouflaged test mule, changes appear to focus mainly on the plastic components. These include redesigned bumpers, a new headlamp and grille assembly, updated LED signatures and a fresh set of alloy wheels. Moving inside, changes are expected to be minimal with a few additional features, while the overall dashboard design will largely remain the same.
Nissan Magnite Facelift - Engine Specs
Under the hood, the Nissan Magnite will continue to retain its existing 1.0-litre petrol engines. The naturally aspirated engine produces a power output of 72 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged variant delivers a power output of 100 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. Transmission options will remain the same, with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
Nissan Magnite Facelift - Launch Date, Rivals & Price
While Nissan hasn't confirmed a specific launch timeline for the Magnite facelift, it is expected to debut early next year. The Nissan Magnite is currently available at a starting price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). It is one of the most affordable SUVs in India and affordability has been a key selling point for the Magnite. It will continue to compete with models like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and the smaller Maruti Suzuki Fronx.

A significant aspect of this facelift is Nissan's plan to start producing left-hand drive (LHD) versions in India for export purposes. This move is expected to boost annual production by 25,000-30,000 units. Currently, Nissan exports right-hand drive (RHD) versions from its Oragadam plant.
