Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Nissan on Thursday teased its upcoming launch, the Magnite Kuro Edition. The Kuro edition features an all-black design theme as Kuro means black in Japanese. Nissan has also started the bookings for the Magnite Kuro and customers can book the car by paying Rs 11,000 at Nissan dealerships or through Nissan’s official website. Nissan is expected to reveal the pricing details in October.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Design 

Nissan's Magnite Kuro Edition boasts an all-black interior and exterior design theme. The car features blacked-out elements such as the grille surrounds, bumper skid plates, roof rails, alloy wheels and headlamp internals. Inside, the Kuro Edition includes custom mats and an all-black finish for the dashboard, seats and door pads.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Engine 

The Magnite Kuro Edition is equipped with the 1.0-litre NA petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Additionally, it now offers a new AMT gearbox, which was previously not included. Nissan may extend this 1.0-litre petrol-AMT powertrain to the standard Magnite in the future. The special edition is also offered with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine configuration. This special edition is exclusively offered in the top-spec XV trims; XV MT, Turbo XV MT, and Turbo XV CVT.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Features

The Kuro Edition of the Nissan Magnite is anticipated to come with extra features. The current Nissan Magnite already includes an 8-inch touchscreen, a centre console armrest with rear AC vents, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a 360-degree camera.

The Nissan Magnite directly rivals the Renault Kiger along with other high-end compact SUVs like the  Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3.
