Nissan Magnite Safety Features: Nissan Magnite scored a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test recently. Earlier, the GNCAP tested Magnite for the first time in 2022, and it scored a 2-star rating back then. The protocol was recently updated by the agency, and the current crash test was organised under new protocols.
Nissan Magnite Safety: A Look At Scores
While the subcompact SUV by Nissan has been awarded the 5-star safety rating for adult protection, it has been awarded a 3-star rating in terms of child safety. The car has scored 32.31 out of a total score of 34 for adult protection, and 33.64 out of a total score of 49 for child protection. While the earlier model of Nissan Magnite offered only two airbags, it lacked many advanced safety features. This was one of the primary reasons why the SUV was awarded the 2-Star rating in the past.

Nissan Magnite: Safety Features
The Japanese car manufacturer constantly made efforts to enhance the passenger safety offered with the Nissan Magnite. Nissan Magnite was upgraded with 6 airbags and ESC as standard. Following the revisions in safety features, the car was then upgraded with features to enhance pedestrian safety, along with a three-point seatbelt for everyone and more. These upgrades helped the SUV to score a 5-star safety rating in the recent crash test.

Nissan Magnite Price In India
The Magnite by Nissan is offered in the country with prices starting from Rs 6.14 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The Magnite is available with two engine options in the country: a naturally aspirated B4D petrol engine, along with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The petrol engine can generate up to 72 hp and 96 nm of torque, whereas the turbo-petrol engine can generate 99 hp and 160 nm of torque.
