Automatic transmission choices in cars are becoming increasingly popular and have recently seen a growing demand from people across the world. There are various reasons why people prefer automatic transmission over manual transmission. One of the most significant reasons is that they are easier to drive and provide comfort while driving. PROS of Automatic Transmission
Comfort - Manual cars require practice for coordinated clutch, accelerator, and gearbox use which add complexity and discomfort. Automatic cars are much easier to drive with just two pedals, offering effortless gear shifting, especially in heavy traffic.
Acceleration - Automatic cars excel in acceleration due to their seamless gear changes, providing a quick and smooth drive. Manuals may lag behind in comparison as they take more time to pick up speed.
Fuel Efficiency - When buying a car, it's important to consider fuel efficiency. Manual cars don't always use less fuel. Modern automatic cars, with improved technology like torque converters, can be just as fuel-efficient or even more. Some newer automatic cars have many gears (up to 8), which helps them use fuel efficiently.

CONS of Automatic Transmission
Higher Maintenance - Automatic transmissions are more intricate than manuals with advanced technology and numerous components, therefore asking for higher maintenance costs. Repairs for automatic transmission vehicles can be more time-consuming. On the other hand, manual gearboxes are easier to maintain owing to their simple mechanical design.
Cost Differences - Automatic cars tend to be more expensive than their manual counterparts, which is a significant drawback. If you have a constrained budget, opting for a manual car can be a more budget-friendly option since they are more affordable.
