Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has revealed that it has recorded best-ever sales in the first three quarters of 2023. Additionally, 2023 has proved to be the most profitable year for Lamborghini in terms of turnover as the Italian manufacturer has surpassed the 2 billion euro turnover mark ever since its establishment. As per a press statement, Lamborghini revealed that is the first time in the company’s 60-year history that they surpassed the 2 billion euro turnover mark just after nine months into a year. This figure indicates a 5.2 per cent increase in the sales and profit of the brand in comparison to last year. This 5.2 per cent increase totalled up to 618 million euros.

In 2023, Lamborghini delivered a total of 7,744 units worldwide, marking a 4.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The Lamborghini Urus and the Lamborghini Huracan continue to be the top-selling models for the brand, with both being completely sold out until their end of production which is expected to stop by the second half of 2024. Post this production end, Lamborghini's entire range is set to transition into full hybridized cars.
Commenting on this joyous occasion, Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said, “Our growth path continues, which translates once again into new records for the company and testifies to the farsightedness of our decisions and our ability to adapt to contexts.”
In the global market, the United States market continues to be the most significant for Lamborghini as a total of 2,342 units have been delivered in the first nine months of 2023. Second is Germany with 709 units, followed by the UK, China including Hong Kong and Macau with 643 units, Japan with 434 units, Middle-East countries with 370 units and Italy with 336 units delivered.

Lamborghini owes its rising sales to an expanding dealership network across the world as the brand recently launched four new dealerships in Sapporo, Lugano, Verona, and Budapest. Currently, the brand has 182 dealerships across 54 international markets. Additionally, Lamborghini is optimistic that the last quarter of 2023 will also show strong performance in terms of sales figure.
