Royal Enfield India has introduced a new feature in its Super Meteor 650 range called the ‘Wingman’. It basically serves as a connected vehicle solution from the brand. Royal Enfield has plans to make it a standard feature in upcoming models. The addition of this new feature will come at an additional cost of Rs 6,500 and existing Super Meteor owners interested in this feature have the option to get it installed by purchasing the device with a nominal fitment cost. From November 16, 2023, customers who will book the Super Meteor 650 will get the added benefit of this feature as a standard inclusion.

Royal Enfield Wingman 

The new Wingman feature will be seamlessly incorporated into the Royal Enfield application which is accessible on both Android and iOS devices. The Wingman is equipped with telematics hardware which delivers important real-time information about the motorcycle's well-being directly to the rider. The bike features an interactive dashboard that allows users to get updates on  fuel level, battery status and service alerts. Security features include engine on/off alerts, GPS-enabled location tracking, last parked location tracking and a convenient walk-to-my-motorcycle feature. The application also provides comprehensive data on daily rides, riding patterns and trip information which includes ride routes, maximum speed, average speed and notifications for sudden braking and acceleration.

Royal Enfield GRID Support 

Royal Enfield is also improving its customer services with Grid Support that provides riders with real-time guidance and vehicle alerts. Grid Support extends service support and roadside assistance to riders making sure that they have dedicated assistance whenever needed. A simple feature allows riders to easily access GRID Support by clicking a button within the app.
