Tata Altroz Facelift Vs Hyundai i20 Vs Maruti Suzuki Baleno:  The Tata Altroz Facelift has been launched in India today wth a price tag ranging between Rs 6.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 11.29 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The premium hatchback now comes equipped with features like a smart digital steering wheel, height-adjustable driver seat, bigger display for the cluster and infotainment system, and a new AMT transmission. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai i20 in the country. Here we are comparing the prices of the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz Facelift, and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Hyundai i20 vs Tata Altroz Facelift

The i20 by Hyundai is one of the toughest competitors for the all-new Tata Altroz. It comes with features such as the Bose-7 speaker music system, voice-assist electric sunroof, 10.25-inch touchscreen for infotainment system, 6 airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), ABS, and more. It draws power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual/IVT transmission. The base variant of the Hyundai i20 (1.2 era petrol) costs Rs 15,000 more than the Smart trim of the Altroz facelift. The top-spec trim of the i20 (Asta IVT Petrol), on the other hand, undercuts the Tata Altroz top-of-the-line model (Accomplished S) by Rs 4000.

Tata Altroz Facelift Vs Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Maruti Suzuki Baleno has made its place in the list of best-selling cars ever since its launch back in 2015. The Baleno offers features such as the projector headlamp setup, UV cut glasses, a 360-degree camera, an ISOFIX child seat mount, and a high-speed alert system. It is worth noting that the Baleno was earlier available with two airbags on offer as standard, but now it also gets 6 airbags as standard, along with ABS and ESP. The base model of the Baleno (Sigma Petrol) costs Rs 19,000 less than the Smart Persona of the all-new Altroz, and it is priced at Rs 6.7 lakhs. Meanwhile, the top-spec (Alpha Petrol) trim is more affordable by Rs 1.37 lakh when compared to the Facelift model of Tata, and it costs Rs 9.92 lakhs.

It should be noted that the top-of-the-line model of the Tata Altroz Facelift comes equipped with a Diesel powertrain, whereas both of its competitors, Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno, get a petrol engine powering their top-spec models. All the prices mentioned in the article are Ex-showroom prices of the respective cars in the Delhi-NCR region.
