Best Selling Cars October 2025: The introduction of GST 2.0 and festive offers boosted the demand for passenger vehicles in India in October 2025. While the SUVs are still dominating the sales chart, the hatchbacks remain the second most popular segment. Let’s take a look at the top 5 best-selling cars in the country for October 2025.
Tata Nexon
The Tata Nexon has remained a popular SUV since its introduction in India in 2017. In October 2025, the Tata Nexon emerged as the best-selling car in October 2025. The SUV by Tata recorded a 50% year-on-year growth, and a total of 22,083 units of the Tata Nexon were sold in the previous month. The Tata Nexon was recently equipped with a Level 2 ADAS Suite, and currently, it is priced between Rs 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has secured the second position on the sales chart by registering a 64% year-on-year growth. A total of 20,791 units of the Dzire were sold in the country in October 2025, and it is the only sedan that has made its place in the top 10 best-selling cars in October 2025. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is currently priced between Rs 6.26 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 9.31 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has remained a popular 7-seater MPV in the country, and it secured the third position in October 2025. A total of 20,087 units of the popular Maruti Suzuki MPV were sold in the month. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is priced between Rs 8.80 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 12.94 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R secured the fourth position in October 2025 by registering a 36% year-on-year growth, and a total of 18,970 units of the tallboy hatchback were sold in the month. The Wagon R is currently priced between Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 6.84 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.

Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta has remained a popular choice in the mid-size SUV segment since its introduction, and it secured the fifth position on the sales chart in October 2025. The Creta recorded a 5% year-on-year growth, and a total of 18,381 units of the mid-size SUV were sold in the country in the month. The Hyundai Creta is priced between Rs 10.73 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 20.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.
