Tesla Model Y Price In India:  Tesla began its journey in India on July 15, 2025, with the opening of its first showroom in Mumbai. The world’s second-largest electric car manufacturer also launched its Model Y SUV in the country with prices starting from Rs 59.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Now, the brand has announced the addition of Pune to the delivery cities.

Book A Tesla From Anywhere

Tesla India shared a post on its official X page providing information about the addition of Pune to the delivery cities. The brand also shared the list of ‘Priority Delivery Cities’, which includes Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurugram. The brand has also announced that customers can now book a Tesla Model Y from anywhere in the country. However, the brand has not shared any information about any additional delivery charges or freight costs.

Tesla Model Y: Range & Battery

Tesla Model Y is an all-electric compact SUV, and it is the brand’s highest-selling model globally. The Model Y is offered in two variants globally: the standard variant with a 60 kWh LFP battery, and the Long Range/performance variant with a 75 kWh NMC battery. The standard variants have a claimed range of up to 499 kilometers once fully charged. Whereas the Long Range/performance variants have a claimed range of up to 622 kilometers.

Tesla Model Y: Features

The Tesla Model Y is one of the most technologically advanced electric SUVs in the world. The SUV comes equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen inside the cabin, which controls most functions in the car. It also gets a panoramic glass sunroof and an electrical liftgate. The Model Y boasts some of the most advanced ADAS features, which include a blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, and more.
