Tesla Model S And X: The Tesla Model S and Model X have remained an integral part of Tesla’s journey as one of the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturers. The brand today announced that the Tesla Model S and the Tesla Model X will be discontinued by June 30, 2026. Tesla Model S And X: The Reason
Elon Musk-led Tesla posted a tweet this morning stating that the brand will wind down production of the Tesla Model S and Model X next quarter. The brand has decided to discontinue these two models, as it is looking forward to an autonomous future. The brand also thanked the early owners of Tesla Model S and X, and said that ‘Tesla wouldn’t be what it is today without the Model S and Model X and their early owners.’ Elon Musk retweeted the post with the caption ‘The Tesla Model S and Model X are amazing vehicles. Get them while still available!’

Tesla Model S: Range And Features
The Tesla Model S is an electric sedan available in two variants: a dual-motor all-wheel drive variant and a plaid trim with tri-electric motor setup. While the dual-motor variant has a claimed range of 659 Km, the Plaid variant comes with a claimed range of 592 kilometers. Inside the cabin, it comes with a triple screen setup with each of the screens having a size of 17 inches, a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display, a 9.4-inch rear-seat display, HEPA air filters, a 360-degree camera, and Tesla Autopilot. Notably, the Tesla Model S Plaid can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 1.99 seconds.

Tesla Model X: Range And Features
The Tesla Model X is a high-performance electric SUV that is available with options of a five-seater, six-seater, and seven-seater layout. The brand offers the Model X in a long-range version, along with a plaid variant globally. The Model X Plaid is the fastest electric SUV in the world, and it can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The Long-range model, on the other hand, can go from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, and it has a claimed range of up to 560 kilometers once fully charged. The Plaid trim of the SUV comes with a claimed range of 542 kilometres. The list of features includes a tilting 17-inch central touchscreen, Falcon wing doors, screens for rear passengers, a three-zone climate control system, and more.
