The world’s richest man and Tesla’s founder, Elon Musk, recently shared a post on the social media platform X (previously Twitter), sharing the information. Tesla Model Y Price In India

Elon Musk-led Tesla began its journey in India on July 15, 2025, and the brand launched the Model Y as its first car in the country. The Tesla Model Y is available in two variants in India. While the prices for the standard rear-wheel-drive Model Y have been placed at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the long-range rear-wheel-drive Model Y has been priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tesla Model Y In India: Range

The brand has equipped its global best-selling car with a 62.5 kWh battery for India. While the standard rear-wheel-drive variant of the Tesla Model Y has a claimed range of 500 kilometres, the long-range rear-wheel-drive variant of the electric SUV has a claimed range of up to 622 kilometres, once fully charged.
